The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

أبانا الذي في السماوات ليتَقدّس إسمَـك ليأتي ملكوتَ

لتَكن مشيئتَك كما في السماء كذلِكَ على الأرض أعطنا

خبزنا كفاف يومنا وإغفر لنا ذنوبنا وخطايانا كما نحن نغفر

لمن خطيءَ و أساء إلينا ولا تُدخلنا في التجارب

لكن نجّنا من الشرير لأن لكَ الملكَ والقوةَ والمجد إلى أبدِ الآبدين...آمين

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfilment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

نؤمن بإله واحد آبٍ ضابط الكلّ خالق السّماء والأرض كلّ ما يُرى وما لا يُرى وبربٍّ واحدٍ يسوع المسيح إبن الله الوحيد المولود من الآب قبل كلّ الدّهور إله من إله نور من نور إله حقّ من إله حق مولود غير مخلوق مساوٍ للآب في الجّوهر الّذي به كان كلّ شيء الّذي من أجلنا نحن البشر ومن أجل خلاصنا نزل من السّماء وتجسّد من الرّوح القدس ومن مريم العذراء وصار إنساناً وصلب عنّا على عهد بيلاطس البنطي تألّم ومات وقبروقام في اليوم الثّالث كما جاء في الكتب وصعد إلى السّماء وجلس عن يمين الله الآب وأيضاً يأتي بمجدٍ عظيم ليدين الأحياء والأموات الّذي لا فناء لملكه ونؤمن بالرّوح القدس الرّب المحيي المنبثق من الآب والإبن الّذي هو مع الآب والإبن يُسجد له ويمجّد النّاطق بالأنبياء والرّسل وبكنيسة واحدة جامعة مقدّسة رسولية ونعترف بمعموديّة واحدة لمغفرة الخطايا ونترجّى قيامة الموتى والحياة في الدّهر الآتي

An Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell. But most of all because I have offended you, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen.

فعل الندامة:
يا ربي وإلهي, أنا نادم من كل قلبي, على جميع خطاياي, لأنه بالخطيئة خسرت نفسي والخيرات الأبدية, وإستحققت العذابات الجهنمية.وبالأكثر أنا نادم, لأني أغظتك وأهنتك, أنت يا ربي وإلهي المستحق كل كرامة ومحبة. ولهذا السبب أبعض الخطيئة فوق كل شرّ. وأريد بنعمتك أن أموت قبل أن أغيظك فيما بعد. وأقصد أن أهرب من كل سبب خطيئة, وأن أفي,بقدر إستطاعتي, عن الخطايا التي فعلتها.آمين.
